Lee Trice’s Brooklyn Solo Show (10/26)

Brooklyn-transplant Lee Trice is set to host a new solo show and Halloween party tomorrow night at the North Brooklyn Collective. Entitled “Weird Is Rad”, the opening begins around 7pm, and will feature a new series of prints and originals works available for purchase. Open through midnight, stop by 121 Knickerbocker Ave in Brooklyn for free drinks, beats, and a collection of stellar works that can be previewed in the thumbnail section above.

Opening Reception: Andre Trenier at GalleryBar (10/26)


Faces Ink presents Andre Trenier‘s first solo exhibit at GalleryBar, which is a great mixed use space that doubles as an art gallery and bar. Genius!

Opening reception is this Friday, October 26th from 7-10pm. For all you art gallery newbies, this typically means free booze, great shmoozing, and playing “I SPY” with different types of mustaches!

To ensure we all have a goulishly good time, our friends I LOVE VINYL are supplying the terrifying tunes and the SOUND LIBERATION FRONT is bringing their Tower of Doom to make your ears bleed with delight! Additionally, we’re unveiling FREECANDY in “FREEE-D”! What is it? You’ve just gotta wait and see. It’ll be worth it! And yes, there WILL be a costume contest with a real bread/cheese/cake prize, so come with it, and get that…if you’re not too afraid to step into our “ramp of horror”.

Filter Magazine Presents: Microtropolis Block party (10/26)

This Friday, Filter will host a free block party in Hudson River Park’s Pier 57, with a performance by Caveman and DJ sets by Albert Hammond Jr. (the Strokes) and Sinkane. Be sure to RSVP to get on the guestlist.
